About

From the time Sean Spiller was elected Mayor of Montclair in May 2020, there was one scandal after another, that eventually led me to begin investigating corruption in Montclair. My research rapidly confirmed suspicions that the mayor of Montclair, Sean Spiller, (from 2020 to 2024) who was also the president of the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) was committing fraud within the municipal government and the NJEA.

I began to attend council meetings on a regular basis and participated in public comment, exposing the corruption I was investigating.

The community including local news media censored my efforts. As a result, this website has been created to provide a platform to educate members of the public about how fraud and corruption undermines democracy and creates inequity in the community.

I am an accountant by trade and an auditor by profession, a retired certified public accountant who worked in the public accounting industry for over 4 decades.

I worked in New York City, from the Bronx to Brooklyn, and throughout Manhattan and New Jersey from 1978 to 2022 servicing myriad industries: the diamond district, film licensing, software development, construction, wholesale, import, garment center, computer consultants, real estate, manufacturing, pharmaceutical sales and distribution, to name a few.

I was the Tax Exempt Organization Practice Leader in an 800 member firm and advised nonprofit clients throughout the world, from Europe to South Africa. My niche practice focused on domestic and international tax-exempt entities with United States tax filing obligations.

I am a trained fraud investigator and specialist in tax-exempt entity compliance and reporting.

All of the information on this website have been researched and written by myself, a Montclair resident since 1987.
