Censorship

The New Jersey State Attorney General (AG), Matthew Platkin, held an event at Montclair State University March 18th, 2025 to promote himself as defender of democratic values.

The democrats will never win as long as they refuse to prosecute the corrupt democrats of NJ.

Matthew Platkin claims to be courageously standing up for our rights while snidely announcing he is recused from prosecuting Sean Spiller for fraudulently claiming state health benefits (State Health Benefits Fraud) while Mayor of Montclair. If only that was the sole fraud Spiller committed.

This writer has submitted many complaints with evidence of fraud and corruption in Montclair to the AG office and other law enforcement agencies. There is no doubt that the crimes Sean Spiller committed in Montclair are worthy of the AG’s attention because other law enforcement agencies have responded to my complaints.

Platkin bragged that NJ has such strong laws around corruption because of the history of organized crime in NJ.  Those laws that he fails to enforce to protect the residents of Montclair and the teachers of NJ.

Platkin started off his self-tribute recounting how he is the only democratic AG appointed by a governor in the country.  This reminded me of Steve Fulop’s remarks at a recent town hall, that the governor appoints the AG to protect the governor.

Platkin bragged about protecting women’s reproductive and LGBTQ rights with claims that no one, Trump, has the right to disregard the law and hurt people.

That is no one except Sean Spiller and Phil Murphy.  The AG will defend their right to escape prosecution for harming the residents of Montclair and the teachers of NJ.

Platkin boasts about protecting those who have been harmed, but in response to my sign “Indict Spiller” he responded with a chuckle “He is recused and doesn’t have anything to do with the case.”

In response to my sign “Montclair is a corrupt town”, he responded “Oh, you have a lot of signs”.

There is a trend among the democrats of NJ, especially men in power.  They mock people they don’t agree with, just like Trump.

After all, censorship is a tool of the powerful to oppress the powerless.
